Mason County EMS & Trauma Council is excited to host an IV Technician Course beginning on October 17, 2023.
The application period for this course will close on September 15, 2023.
This course is for current EMTs who have completed at least one full year as an EMT and are looking to expand their skill set to become IV Technicians.
Upon completing this course and the required paperwork, graduates can perform duties as an EMT - IV Technician in Washington State.

Mason County EMTs participating in the OTEP method of recertification will be transitioned from the BLS OTEP group to the ILS/ALS Base Station group upon graduation from the IV Technician Course. They will be required to complete the ILS-level Protocol Exam. Please discuss this transition with your training officer before registering for the course.
