About the event

This 40-hour Instructor Methodology course is offered in partnership with the Department of Health. It is designed to provide credentialed EMS providers an opportunity to develop and hone their instructional delivery skills.

Participants will complete online coursework independently, then meet virtually with an instructor to tie it together and work on individual topic presentations. At the end of the course, students will participate in an in-person practical skills evaluation coordinated with a local or regional evaluator.

The cost to attend is $100 per student.

Applications will be accepted through September 6, 2023, or until the class reaches capacity, whichever is sooner. The maximum capacity for this course is 25 students.

The Washington State Department of Health approves this course to meet the prerequisite for SEI Candidacy. More information about becoming an SEI can be found on the Department of Health Website.
