Mason County EMS & Trauma Council is excited to host an IV Technician Course, beginning on October 18th, 2022.
The application period for this course has ended.
This course is for current EMTs who have completed at least one full year as an EMT and are looking to expand upon their skill set to become IV Technicians.
Upon completion of this course and required paperwork, graduates will be able to perform duties as an EMT - IV Technician in Washington State.
Mason County EMTs participating in the OTEP method of recertification will be transitioned from the BLS OTEP group to the ILS/ALS Base Station group upon graduation from the IV Technician Course, and will be required to complete the ILS level Protocol Exam. Please discuss this transition with your training officer prior to registering for the course.
